What's the haps?

What was your favorite theme for celebrating last year?

Tell
Dusty!

"Laissez les bon temps rouler!" (Let the good times roll!)

Purple, green and gold whirl over lively jazz and revelers.

It's Mardi Gras soon!

Looking for something to do for Mardi Gras?

Here are some quickie ideas:
1) Use what you have to make an absurd, fantastic costume colored purple, green and gold.

2) Make doubloons and necklaces. You can recycle old bits of foil, beads, macaroni, bottle caps and other odds and ends.

3) Improvise a jazz band.  (There's lots of things to use:  inverted pans and pots, scrub brushes rubbed over cheese graters, oatmeal box drums, cardboard tubes for clarinets, cans or unbreakable jars filled with beans for shakers!)

4) Build a float on your wagon or bike.

5) Make Mardi Gras masks and costumes from paper plates, boxes, bits of foil that need to be recycled, crayons and other creative stuff!

Send in your play ideas!

Smile!

Part of the fun is making up the name of the theme.
Your imagination is the only limit.

But even more fun is taking what you have and adapting it to the theme.

Having trouble coming up with a theme?
Here are some that may make your ears waggle!
